Our Mission Statement is:
"Enabling unbelievers to become disciples of Jesus Christ"
Our vision at Christ Church is to be God's properly functioning body of disciples in line with the Acts 2 Church model so that Christ's saving purposes can be fulfilled in the world.
The main thing is the Mission Statement. This is what God has entrusted to us and everything we do is in the light of that. We are called to go and make Jesus known.
“Jesus came to them and said, all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
Our Life Verse is:
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
