St. Peter's Church have been partners with the Rev Juan Carlos and Penny Marceés for 13 years - (since 1996)
They have three children - Rebeca (Becky), Elizabeth (Lizi) and Jonatan (Jonny).
They live and work in Lima, the capital of Peru, where they have led and developed the work and outreach of the church of Jesus el Salvador (Jesus the Saviour) in Villa el Salvador, an area in the south of Lima.

They recently visited us on 24
th
January 2010 joining with our Sunday worship and sharing lunch together.
We learnt that on their return in March, at the direction of Bishop William Godfrey, Juan Carlos will be taking up the leadership of the Spanish speaking congregation at the Cathedral Church of the Good Shepherd.
St Peter's also aims to have an active home mission concern.
We support and also receive from the
Church Pastoral Aid Society
.
Through their involvement with the Martyrs' Memorial Trust they are patrons of our parish.
As a church we are particularly interested in the
Falcon Camps
run by the society.
The one at Oswestry has had present and past members of St. Peter's as part of the team for the last few years.
To keep our world mission concern informed the WMAG -World Mission Action Group - endeavours to have a short item of world mission interest at each of the four congregations most months.
