Inspyre
Inspyre is for teenagers between the ages of 13-18 and meets weekly (during term time). Friday evenings 7:30 - 9:30.
We aim to have fun together and to have the chance to talk about God, Jesus and faith.
Arrival is from 7:30pm starting formally around 7:45pm and most weeks we meet in the Church Lounge. We chat, have interactive topics and Bible based discussion... which can lead anywhere!
Following our discussion (around 8:30pm) we usually move to the Huband Room and have activities such as card games, team games, cooking (and eating!) with hot chocolate and other refreshments provided.
We also enjoy social evenings and plan occasional offsite visits such as bowling. In the summer we use the adjacent open space for activities. Before Christmas a visit to the Samaritan's Purse warehouse to unload and sort gifts was enjoyed by all who took part. Our 'junk modelling' was displayed in the church foyer for all to enjoy!
The group has around 9 regular members but also has occasional visitors. Those at uni are welcome during their holidays.
Inspyre is for young people from the church and local area - so do join us!
